It's been raining all day, but it's getting worse as it gets later. A few minutes ago it sounded like a hurricane outside! Howling wind and lashing rain. I like those sounds, when I'm snug indoors.
I just did something I haven't done in ages: I took a bath and read a book. The books is one I picked up at a used book store months ago, and then forgot about. A Gathering of Days, by Joan Blos. It was published the year I was born, and won the Newberry Medal. I like it, so far.
