My rose is growing! We planted it in a pot on Sunday, and it's been thriving ever since. It's putting out new leaves, and the stem is slowly changing from vibrant green to a more woody brown. I was worried this morning because some of the big leaves fell off during the night, and I'm not sure why. They're the ones making most of the food, so it needs really them. But it's still got three left, and they seem to be doing fine, so hopefully it will be ok. I'm so proud of my little baby rosebush! In summer time, if it's grown enough, I'll put it outside. (I'm still going to keep it in the pot, though).
Yesterday I was sooo tired that I just stayed home. We drove out to Graham on Monday night so Zack could get his haircut. As I walked through the door, Crystal said, "Oh, poor Anande, you're always so tired when you get here! Look, you're yawning already!" (Which was true). She asked me if I'm anemic, and I said I could be - I was when I was really young. So she told me to buy some blackstrap molasses and take a big spoonful every morning stirred into a cup of hot water. That's what I'm sipping on now, as I type this. It looks like very black coffee. I kind of like it.
The first episode of the new Biggest Loser is up on Hulu. I'm so excited! My plan is to try and lose 2 pounds a week, for the whole season. I think I can do it!
